This performance also featured three student musicians from Buffalo city schools. Oscar Woodrich (guitar) from City Honors School, Jackson Edwards (bass) from Buffalo Academy for the Visual & Performing Arts, and Christian Bowman (drums) from South Park High School performed the score for this performance. The three of them made up the entire pit band for the show. These three musicians also have their own band called The Progressions.
The National Theatre for Student Artists (NTSA) was created and is managed by Kenny alum Victoria Chatfield. Victoria started her own student-run theatre company that produced musicals while still in high school. In 2012, she created the National Theatre for Student Artists, which is a pre-professional program for Broadway bound students that accepts talented students from across the country and brings them together to produce a piece of theatre in the same time frame as professionals.

For over 25 years, hundreds of outstanding high school musical theatre productions in Western New York have been recognized and honored by The Kenny Awards.
